Dennis M. Messing, Jr.

Dennis M. Messing, Jr. of Quincy, died April 7, 2013.   

Dennis loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and their dogs.  He was a talented carpenter and most proud of being able to design and build the Luminosity Hair Design studio in Quincy for his wife Kimberly.  He enjoyed time at the beach and shopping. Dennis was a friend of Bill W. and helped numerous friends who shared the same difficulty in their lives.  He was smart, handsome, and kind.  Dennis was always willing to help others in need and possessed a great sense of humor.  He will be greatly missed. 

Beloved husband of Kimberly A. (Kelleher) Messing of Quincy and stepfather of Nathan Giguere of Quincy.  Loving son of Dennis M. Messing, Sr. and his wife Cindy of Quincy, loving son of Janice (Farnkoff) of Dedham, and grandson of Daniel Farnkoff of Dedham.  Cherished brother of Timothy Messing and his wife Lisa of Quincy, and the late Matthew Messing.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
