Dennis M. Mercurio

Dennis M. Mercurio of Braintree, died June 12, 2016.

Dennis grew up in the North End on Endicott St. In his early years, he played softball and served as commissioner. He enjoyed the casino, playing cribbage, bowling and the Saint Anthony’s Feast. He fulfilled his dream of owning racehorses in his retirement years.

Beloved husband of Judy (Barrasso) Mercurio of Braintree. Devoted father of Gregory, Douglas and wife Michelle, and Matthew Mercurio. Cherished Grandpa of Steven, Jason, Mark, Eric and Katrina. Loving brother of P. Anthony Mercurio and wife Irene, Marlene Feloni and husband Richard and the late Demetrio Mercurio, Jr. Brother-in-law of Charlie Barrasso and wife Judy, Stephen Barrasso and wife Alicia and Larry Barrasso. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Dennis will be remembered for his kind heart and love of family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9 AM.

Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
