Dennis B. Singer

Dennis B. Singer, of Braintree, died October 18, 2017.

Dennis worked the first 20 years of his career at the Quincy Shipyard. After working as a contract specialist for the Air Force, Dennis was happy to enjoy his retirement as the “cheese guy” at Roche Brothers. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and collecting oddities. He will be remembered for his quiet, generous nature.

Beloved husband of Marianne (Shaughnessy) Singer of Braintree. Devoted father of Mike Gale and his wife Kari of West Bridgewater and Melissa Barone and her husband Ed of Braintree. Cherished Gaga of Victoria, Jason, Alicia, Kailyn, Miranda and Evan. Loving brother-in-law of Richard Shaughnessy of Attleboro and Walter Shaughnessy and his wife Judy of Taunton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services are private. Burial in St. James Cemetery, Whitman at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dennis may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
