Denis G. “Sonny” Pizzelli

Pizzelli, Denis G. “Sonny” of Hull, formerly of Hingham unexpectedly December 20, 2006. Devoted husband of the late Gloria A. (Cook) Pizzelli. Beloved father of Donna and her husband Daniel Miller of Middleboro, Karen and her husband Michael Stephenson of Hopkinton, Nancy and her husband Edward Walsh of Braintree, Carol and her husband Theodore Cantrell of Boston, and Stephen Pizzelli and his wife Maria of No. Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Clifford, Daniel, Jr., Stephen, II, Matthew, Juliana, Emily, and Aidan. Loving brother of Dorothy Campbell of Hingham, Daniel Pizzelli of FL, and the late David Pizzelli of Hingham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Denis graduated from Quincy High. He was a Korean Conflict veteran in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1953. He lived in Hingham for over 32 years with his wife Gloria. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Hingham, Denis also was an umpire of the Hingham Little League. Denis was quiet humble man who enjoyed sports, especially football, bowling, and going to Foxwoods. He dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
