Deborah A. Edwards

Edwards, Deborah A. of Weymouth, passed away January 24, 2016. Born and growing up in Weymouth, Deborah attended Weymouth High School. Deborah made many longtime friends while working at the Weymouth Eagles. Over the years, with her family by her side, there were many camping trips to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. The family has fond memories of all the BBQ’s, Benefits, Pool Parties and Fires. Especially “The Watermelon Toss” which Debbie was the founder of.  Spending time outdoors and at the beach with her grandson Ryder and many great friends. Deborah was a proud Patriots and Red Sox fan and her family was the cornerstone of her life. Former wife of Jeffrey Gay of Assinet. Loving daughter of Harold and Susan (Collins) Edwards. Beloved mother of Leah Gay and her significant other John Gately of Weymouth, and Nicole Lomme and her husband Bryan of Braintree . Cherished Nana of Ryder and Ruby. Sister of Harold Edwards, Diane Walden, Edward Edwards, Penny Pinola, Kent Edwards, and Emily Clifford. Predeceased by her siblings Jeanne Pinola, Paula Worcester and Richard Edwards. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM on Friday. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
