Shaw, David T. of Chelsea, formerly of Quincy, September 20, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Ellen (Kelly) Shaw, Loving father of the late Joseph A. Shaw. Father in law of Gail A. Shaw of Plymouth, devoted brother of Elizabeth Callahan of Quincy, Margaret Crockett of Fl,and the late Ann Kelly and Paul Shaw. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. David Shaw was born in Boston and grew up in Roxbury. He graduated from Boston State College and served in the United States Navy during World War II and Korean War. He was worked for the IRS for 14 years retiring back in 1979. In his eariler years he worked as a truck driver for the Post Office in Quincy Square for 10 years. David was a member of the VFW Post in Quincy, he also took census for the City of Quincy. He had a great interest for city politics. David was a very social person. He lived in North Quincy for many years. David was a WWII and Korea Veteran. The Shaw family would like to thank all the wonderful people at the Soldiers Home for thier care and assistance.
