David P. Cooke of Quincy, 51, died unexpectedly on September 3, 2018. David was a lifelong resident of Quincy, MA and a loyal employee of Frito Lay since 1997. He could fill any room he walked into with an amazing energy that can never again be replicated. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his bright blue eyes, his sense of humor, and his ability to forge a relationship with anyone he met David was well-traveled, having a particular love of island life, whether it be the Caribbean or Martha’s Vineyard, where he looked forward to vacationing every year. With a vast amount of interests, David could surprise anyone with the knowledge he held about any topic you could think of. He enjoyed all aspects of fitness, whether it be faithfully going to the gym every night or practicing yoga, he was passionate about staying in shape and being healthy. Not afraid to state his honest opinion about anything, David inspired everyone to be themselves without any reservations. He was the ray of light that could make you forget about your bad day with a simple five minute conversation, and his spirit will live on within the many lives he touched.
