David M. Tapper

Tapper, David M. of Delray Beach, Florida formerly of Quincy, suddenly, December 19, 2014.

Beloved son of Deanna M.  Murphy and her husband William C. of Weymouth and David P. Tapper  and his wife Maureen E. of Quincy.  Loving brother of William H. and his twin Genevieve E. Murphy and Shane, Ryan and Cole Tapper. Cherished grandson of Paul and Norma Roche of Quincy, Janice Tapper Beaton and her late husband William of Quincy and Richard Tapper and his companion Maureen Wilkinson of Naples, FL and Weymouth. Precious Great-grandson of Bruno Calderara and his late wife Althea of Quincy. Loving boyfriend of Stephanie Harrell of Delray Beach, Florida. David is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

David was a graduate of the Quincy High School Class of 2006 and a proud member of the Quincy High Presidents hockey team where he earned one of his two family nicknames, “Dave Hockey” from Shane, Ryan, and Cole, whereas William and Genevieve will forever remember him as their “Day Day.” 

David was employed by Better Plumbing of Delray Beach, where only after one month, his hard work ethic and dedication earned him a promotion from an entry level position to an Office Manager. However, David’s greatest achievement in life was his everlasting love and eternal devotion towards his family.  David will always be remembered for his good nature and infectious personality as well as, the kindness, compassion, and affection he displayed to all.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10:00 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
