David L. Wong

David L. Wong, 83, son of the late June and Chin Shee Wong, passed away in Norwell on November 20, 2021.

David was an avid golfer, accomplished hockey player and was inducted into the Quincy High School Hockey Hall of Fame. He worked for 36 years for Delta Airlines as ground personnel and was also a longtime soccer and hockey referee. No one who met David would forget that he loved to laugh and was full of wit. In addition to his infectious smile, he was generous, full of energy, and a vibrant storyteller. He will be greatly missed.

David is survived by his wife, Rose Wong; his son Lance Wong and wife Carrie Ann; and his daughter, Shelena Wong. David was also a cherished grandfather “Ye Ye” to Lucas and Lyra Wong. He was predeceased by 11 siblings and survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 3-5 PM at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, MA followed by a brief prayer service at 5 PM. At the request of the family, everyone is required to be fully vaccinated and to wear face masks.
