David J. Fenton, Jr.

David John Fenton, Jr., 55, of Hingham MA, passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2014, peacefully near his home in Chatham MA, after a brief illness.   

David is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cheryl Skane Fenton and their beloved daughter, Julianna Rose. Dave is the son of David J. Fenton, Sr. and Mary (Ilg) Fenton of Lowell and So. Orleans MA.   Dave’s immediate family includes his brother, Peter, and wife Liz of Cary, NC, and two sisters, Betsy Fenton Hargreaves of Dover and Julie Fenton Gerard and husband Larry of Andover along with seven nieces and nephews:  William, Thomas and Peter Fenton, Sarah and John Hargreaves, and  Jack and Mary Gerard.   

Born in Lowell, Dave graduated from Lawrence Academy and from Boston College.  As a well known member of the Boston business community, Dave spent his career in sales and held executive positions with Motorola, Industrial Communications and DG Clean Power.  One of his greatest joys was spending time on Cape Cod with his family.  He loved the ocean, boating, and attending sporting events, especially those on the heights of Boston College.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
