David F. Rogers

Mr. David F. Rogers, of Hingham, died peacefullly surrounded by his loving family on September 6, 2016. 

David was a grandson of noted artist Franklin Whiting Rogers. He served with the United States Air Force. David enjoyed gardening, painting, dancing, and was a talented musician.  Beloved husband of  Shirley A. (Potter) Rogers. Loving father of  David A. Rogers and his wife, Debbie Doolittle, of NC, Stephen H. Rogers and his longtime girlfriend, Carolyn Goodbody of VA, Leahnne Belliveau and her husband, Mike, of NC, and Chere Marrese and her husband, Andrew, of Norwell. Brother of Elizabeth “Betty” Burwell of MN. Grandpa of ChereLee, Ted, Raymond, Andrew, and Gabrielle. Also survived by his 4 legged friend, Indy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
