Mr. David E. Townson, of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 25, 2024. He was 81.
Dave was born into a large, tight knit family and family was very important to him. He and his wife, Dyanne, went on to raise four daughters. Dave was very active in the Knights of Columbus; playing softball in his younger years and calling BINGO for decades. He enjoyed playing racquetball, bowling and dancing with his wife. In his later years he enjoyed playing cards with his siblings, thrift shopping, gathering collectibles, learning to play the guitar, dancing with his daughters and spending time with his grandchildren. David Townson was well known for his warm heart, his big hugs, his rowdy sense of humor and his limitless generosity. He will be missed by all who knew him.
