David Lee Desrosiers

David Lee Desrosiers, of Brockton, formerly of Quincy, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 76.

David was born in Quincy on October 28, 1948, and was the son of the late Richard J. Desrosiers and stepson of the late Jean M. Desrosiers.

David was known for his smile, his passion for life, and his love for the things that brought him joy. He was an avid car enthusiast who loved attending car shows, always admiring the beauty and craftsmanship of a well-built machine. David was also a loyal Bruins fan and could often be found cheering on his team with great enthusiasm.

David's love for fun didn't stop there. He was an avid bowler, a dedicated karaoke performer, and someone who loved dancing. His heart was full of life, and he shared it with everyone he met.

Tony’s Clam Shop was David’s favorite summertime destination, as he loved a good clam plate. David was known for his warm personality and for making every place he visited a little brighter.

As a proud uncle, David cherished spending time with his family, petting Lawson and Daisey, and being a loving presence in their lives. He also had a deep love for music, having sung with the South Shore Choir for a couple of seasons. His soulful voice will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of hearing it. But the King, Elvis, was David’s all-time favorite. And his trip to Graceland with Earl was a dream come true.

David was the beloved brother of Jane M. Desrosiers of Weymouth. He was the devoted uncle of Jonathan J. Coyle and his wife Emily of Gloucester, and the devoted great uncle of Evelyn Jane Coyle and Noah Stasio, both of Gloucester. David was the dear friend and housemate of Kenny, Ricky and the late Earl, all of Brockton, and is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
