David Chase Campbell Sr. of Hull, MA, formerly of Cape Cod, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in Hyannis, MA, he was raised in Marstons Mills, and graduated from Barnstable High School. After, David joined the United States Army, and was stationed in Germany. He then began his career as a Pharmaceutical Salesman throughout the Cape and Islands. David loved to play golf, and in retirement worked for both the Milton Hoosic Club and the Hatherly Golf Course. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Paula, in their RV. He loved the ocean, Cape Cod, trips to Maine and Florida, was an avid reader, and a great businessman. He was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Hull. One of his biggest passions was his Dogs. He loved animals and always adopted through shelters. Most important to him was his family, his children and grandchildren, who he loved deeply. All he ever wanted was the best for his family!
The son of the late James Francis Campbell and the late Cleone (Chase) Campbell. He was the loving husband of 53 years to Paula (Lavidor) Campbell, of Hull. The father of Kristen Lavidor (Campbell) Scanlan, and her husband Paul Scanlan, of Hull. The father of David Chase Campbell Jr and his wife Carolyn Laverty Campbell, of Westford, MA.
The Loving brother of Peter Campbell, and his wife the late Susan Campbell of Hyannis, and the loving brother of the Late James Francis Campbell. The uncle of Peyton Willman and her family, of Barnstable, and Pete Campbell, and his family, of Springfield.
He was the Cherished “Bear” to his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Campbell of Westford and Brandon Parsons, Nicholas Scanlan, and Kristopher Scanlan of Hull.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 in Hull Village Cemetery at 11am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in David’s name to any MSPCA of your choice.
