Crehan, David C. of Weymouth, died on February 26, 2010 at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Diane (Guiducci) Crehan of Weymouth. Cherished son of Maxine Crehan of Hanover and the late Harold Crehan. Loving brother of Frances Bevans and her husband Robert, Nancy Crehan and Stephen Crehan all of Plymouth and Richard Crehan and his wife Lynne of Maine. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. David was born in Portsmouth, NH. While growing up in York Beach, Maine, he acquired a love of the ocean. That passion grew as he moved to Weymouth, working for Bay Pointe Marina in Quincy, as a yard manager, for almost 30 years. David proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Independence in HS5 from 1973-1976. He was an avid boater and an incredibly talented craftsman. He loved building and restoring Harley Davidson motorcycles and classic cars and continued to do so up until the day he passed away. Dave’s family describes him as a strong and motivated man that was very rarely found sitting still. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. At David’s request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to Mass. General Hospital, 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114.
