David A. Harris, Jr.

David Harris, Jr. of Rockland, MA, passed away Tuesday, September 14th after a long illness. Born March 17, 1970 in Weymouth, MA, he was the son of the late Lillian (Mariano) and David Harris, Sr.

David is survived by his devoted long-term partner, Christine Murphy (aka Weet), his sons Joseph and Jarrett, his steps Ashley, Deborah, and Danielle, and Bella, his beloved pup. David was the younger brother of Kathy Harris of Lynnfield and the late Laura Jean (Harris) Fitzgerald and her husband, Dan of Rockland.  Also survived by his granddaughters, Avalynne  and soon to be born Lillian Genevieve. David was “Uncle Buck” to Matt, Emily, Sean and Lauren Fitzgerald. Also survived by his sons’ mother Laura Norton Harris. 

David loved sports, family barbecues, traveling when he was well, casinos, scratch tickets, rousing games of family Bingo, and of course, food. He hated spiders, phonies, and B.S.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather to honor and remember David on Monday, September 20th from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Brief memory sharing will take place at 4:30 PM.
