Daryl M. Mcbride

Daryl M. McBride of Kingston (formerly of Weymouth) died on Saturday, March 12th doing what he loved to do – riding his motorcycle. He was 56.

Beloved husband of Kathryn A. (McDonald) and father of Christine E. McBride and Michelle M. McBride and proud Grandfather of Jackson Paul Rice. Loving son to Anita Costello (Payne) and her husband Edward Costello of Whitman. Brother to John McBride and his wife, Diane of Derry, NH, Donald McBride of Weymouth, Timothy McBride of Halifax, Tom and wife Diane McBride of Bridgewater, Patricia Megna of Falmouth, Robert McBride of Hanover and Scott McCoy, and step sister to Amy Murphy of Weymouth. Brother in law of Mark McDonald of Berkeley, CA, Clare Downey and Robert Rizzi of Kingston, Vincent McDonald and wife Christine of Cohasset, and the late Larry, Brian and Paul McDonald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Daryl was an avid competitor who loved playing all sports as well as watching all the Boston Sports Teams. If that didn’t help him relax, he would listen to and play music as a skilled guitarist. When all else failed, Daryl always found solace in the freedom of riding one of his many motorcycles. When he wasn’t fixing something around the house or planning the right venue for a dinner with the love of his life Kathy, spending time with his daughters, or playing with his beloved Jackson, he made his living as a master plumber for the Local 12 Plumber’s Union.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.
