Flynn, Daniel J., Jr. “Red” of North Quincy, formerly of South Boston, passed July 1, 2004, after a brief illness, at home with his family. Beloved husband for 54 years of Ann (Cadigan) Flynn. Loving father of Maryann Lavoie and husband Harry of Dorchester, Nancy Figueiredo and husband David of Quincy, Judith Coyne and husband Dennis of Milton, Denise McDonough and husband William “Touchie” of South Boston, Maureen Burton and husband Joseph of Weymouth, , Colleen Gibbons and husband James of Scituate, Daniel J. Flynn III and wife Margaret of Milton. Devoted Grandfather of Justin and wife Megan,Brian and Michelle Lavoie, DJ and Jamie Figueiredo, Declan, Aidan, and Austin Coyne, Jacquelyn and Erin McDonough, Katie, Jonathan, Patrick, and Danielle Burton,Kaylan and Connor Gibbons, and Mairead, Ailish, Garrett, and Rory Flynn, and Great-Grandfather of Ryan and Carli Lavoie. Brother of Anne Murphy of Holliston, Margaret Beggan of South Boston, and the late Joseph Flynn. Also survived by many nieces. nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St.. WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Veteran U.S. Navy. Member of Castle Island Retirees Club, an avid card player and a gentleman of deep religious convictions. A graduate of So. Boston High School and Wentworth Institute.
