Daniel J. Madden

Madden, Daniel J. age 80 of Quincy, formerly of South Boston. February 11, 2009. Beloved husband of 57 years of Theresa C. (Walsh) Madden of Quincy. Loving father of Dr. Daniel J. Madden Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Milton and Christine Sullivan and her husband Dr. William Sullivan of Milton. Brother of the late Frank and Gertrude Madden. Devoted grandfather of Kevin, Colleen and Daniel Madden and William and Laura Sullivan all of Milton. Mr. Madden was born and raised in South Boston. He was a 1946 graduate of South Boston High School and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mr. Madden was a Plumber before retiring in 1988. He was a proud member of Local #12 for sixty years. Daniel enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Presidents Golf Club. In his eariler years Dan played the guitar and sang for family on special occasions. Most of all Dan was a very humble man who adored his children, grandchildren and wife Theresa to whom he was married for 57 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3- 7 PM. Burial in Milton Cemetery. Donations in memory of Daniel may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research, P.O.
