Daniel J. Leclerc

LeClerc, Daniel J. “Dan” of Braintree, died August 31, 2014. He was 26.

Dan grew up in Beverly and Plymouth and has lived in Braintree for the last 3 years. He worked for Ocean State Lobster as a truck driver for 7 years. Dan was a skilled and competitive motocross rider, taking pride in racing with the New England Trail Riding Association among the best riders. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan and also had an appreciation for history and building model airplanes. His family cherishes memories of summers in Maine, his dedication to his family and his contagious sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. 

Cherished son of Larry LeClerc and his wife Rabia of Plymouth and his mother Cheryl (Fernandez) LeClerc of Colorado. Devoted father of Brianna LeClerc of Plymouth. Loving brother of Paul LeClerc and his fiancée Kristen of Colorado and Ela LeClerc of Plymouth. Grandson of Joanne and the late Gerard LeClerc of Beverly and Barbara (Zenga) Fernandez of Florida. Beloved fiancé of Christine McCarthy of Braintree, her father Paul McCarthy of Braintree and her late mother, a dear friend of Dan’s, Alice McCarthy. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beverly.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dan may be made on behalf of his daughter to the Brianna LeClerc Education Fund, c/o Rockland Trust, 150 Grossman Drive, Braintree, MA 02184.
