Mr. Daniel H. Zahn, of Weymouth, passed away in his home on July 5, 2019 at the age of 66.

Born in Boston, son of the late Daniel and Mildred (Norley) Zahn.Beloved husband of Kristine A. (Kelley) Zahn. Loving father of Jay Zahn and his partner, Rhys Roffey, of Brooklyn, NY. Brother of Greg Zahn and his wife, Susan, of Sarasota, FL. Brother-in-law of Michele and Dan Murphy of Weymouth, MA. Devoted son-in-law of the late Elizabeth Kelley. Uncle of Steven, Andrea, Michelle, and Derek. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Mandy.

Daniel lived in Weymouth for many years, and enjoyed boating, fishing, practical jokes and working around the house. He was also known by family to be an expert snowmobile driver and a master at “ice dipping.” He was also a Minuteman Dart League B Division State champion. Danny always could be found in casual attire rather than a suit and tie, so the family is requesting casual attire for the service.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday from 10-12:30 at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square), followed by his Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Whitman’s Pond Association, 42 Seaver Road, Weymouth, MA 02189.
