Scully, Daniel E., Sr. of Hull September 17, 2004. Husband of the late Anne M. (Jacobson) Scully. Loving father of Daniel E. Scully, Jr. of South Boston. Loving stepfather of Joseph Brooker of Quincy, Paul Brooker of East Boston, Donald Brooker of Hull, Gerald Brooker of San Diego, CA, Desiree Bellor of Greenfield and Catherine Bruce of Marshfield. Loving companion of Virginia Ray of Hull & family. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, 3 great great grandsons & nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Mr. Scully worked as a Sawsmith at the Charlestown Navy Yard. He was part of the team responsible for maintaining the USS Constitution. During WWII, he served in the Navy in the China/Burma Theater. He volunteered and drove the bus for the Anne Scully Senior Center (named for his late wife) in Hull and was very active in Hull town meetings and elections. He was a member of the Hull VFW, a past president for the Hull Lions Club and an usher at St. Ann’s Church in Hull.Donations in memory of Mr. Scully may be made to the Anne M.
