Daniel B. McGarry of Rockland, formerly of Weymouth, died at home on November 19, 2021 at the age of 68.

Dan loved being outside, gardening, riding his Harley, and watching HGTV. He was a proud Teamster for many years. In retirement, Dan worked for Magoun Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland and McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in Weymouth as a greeter and limousine driver. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

Dan was the beloved husband of 30 years to the late Bonnie Marie (Urbancek) McGarry. Loving father of Erin R. Grant and her husband Peyton of Weymouth, Daniel J. McGarry and his wife Katie of Kingston, and Molly J. Manning and her husband Ryan of Rockland. Proud “Papa” of James, Birdie, and Maclen. Cherished son of Bernie McGarry (retired BPD) of Weymouth and the late Frances T. (O’Reilly) McGarry. Brother of Geraldine McGarry of Weymouth, Marion McGarry of Weymouth, Jean Marie Young of Raynham, and the late Maureen Genack. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand dogs.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
