Dale A. Dopson, Sr.

Dale A. Dopson, Sr., of Stoughton, a Senior R&D Tech at Medtronic, left us on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at South Shore Hospital. He was 62.

Born in San Fernando, Trinidad, Dale moved to the United States as a young man. As someone who could fix anything, he was well-suited for his job in medical device testing. He had a passion for fixing and driving cars along with watching various car shows. He also loved watching the Discovery and History Channel and “How it’s Made” with his grandcats, Kiki and Apple. Dale’s favorite thing was working with his sons, Mark and Dale Jr., teaching them his skills.

Dale’s most important role and connection was with his family. He was the beloved husband of Dawn V. (Alexander) Dopson.  The loving father of Dale A. Dopson, Jr. and his girlfriend Soveth Lim,  Mark A. Dopson and his wife Miranda.

The brother of Jennifer, Charmaine, Carlos, Michael, Mario, Anton, Angelo, Janeen and Delia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his special niece Tabitha Osinski.

Brother-in-law to Lydia and Kenny, Gail and Raffique, Judy and Stanley, special mention to Cheryl and Azid.

He was also best friend to Dan and Teresa of Berryville, VA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, July 19 from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Cremation will follow.
