Courtney Marie Mccann

Courtney Marie McCann passed away suddenly on September 9th, after a long struggle with addiction. She was 32 years old.

Born in Boston and raised in Weymouth and was a graduate of Weymouth High School. Courtney was employed at Homestart Inc. as a housing search advocate. Courtney was a fierce and relentless advocate for her clients which included mothers, children, and homeless veterans, and was a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Courtney had a great love of fashion, fun, and friends and had an unbridled spitfire personality which could never be matched! She was smart, beautiful and loved by all who knew her.

Courtney was the beloved daughter of Steven Glenn Legere and Lana Lee Legere of Weymouth and the late Walter McCann. She also leaves her loving son Ryan Legere. Cherished sister of Ryan McCann and Steven Legere of Weymouth, Patrick McCann and his wife Samantha of Rockland, and Alyson Kutz and her husband Jeff of N. Andover. Dear grandaughter to Helen Legere of Weymouth and the late Glenn Legere. Courtney will be deeply missed by her cousins; Heather,  Jenna, Renee, Elise, Michael and Corey Legere all of Weymouth and Leah, Laura, Lisa, and Nylen of East Bridgewater, Jonathan and Stephen Fillmore of East Bridgewater, Alana, Glenn and Joe Legere of Rockland.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Old South Union Church, Weymouth.
