Cortney R. Barkdoll

Barkdoll, Cortney R. (Ring) of Whitman, died unexpectedly on June 3, 2021.

Cortney excelled in her career in Human Resources.  With over 20 years of experience. Cortney focused on building relationships with the people she worked with and aimed to make a positive difference in some way. Cortney worked most recently as a Human Resource Manager for Explo, Sullivan Tire, and Harbor Medical Assoc,.  In her free time, she enjoyed attending music festivals, cruising to warm destinations and having cookouts and campfires with family and friends.  Her main passion in life was helping others.  She will be remembered for her smart, organized, caring and generous personality.  Cortney will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Cherished daughter of the late Charlene Ring.  Caring sister of Melissa Ring and her husband Bill McGrath of South Weymouth.  Devoted Auntie of Maggie McGrath of Weymouth.  Loving longtime companion of Anthony Taylor of Whitman and his family; Barbara Taylor, Anthony Taylor Jr., Joshua Taylor, Chantal Taylor, Vanessa Lobe, Barbara Silveri and Randall Taylor, Jr.  Adored mom of her fur babies, Peanut and Dixie.  Also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, June 13 from 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, June 14 at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH.  Cremation will follow.
