Cornelia F. Mahoney

Mahoney, Cornelia F. “Connie” of Quincy, died January 18, 2015. 

Connie was recognized for her 45 years of dedicated service at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Connie was an active volunteer for numerous causes, such as Dove, South Shore Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Long Island Hospital, and as a Eucharistic minister for St. John’s Parish. She cherished her family and her many life long friendships. She was an exceptional daughter, sister, aunt, caregiver, and friend and will be forever missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.

Devoted daughter of the late John J. and Annie J. (O’Shea) Mahoney. Loving sister of John F. Mahoney of Plymouth (Dorchester) and the late Anna Georgias and Kathryn Bell. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and one great grand nephew. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
