Collette Murphy

Murphy, Collette (O’Connor) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 23, 2024 after a brief illness.

As a dedicated stay-at-home mom, Collette poured her heart into raising her three children, nurturing them with an abundance of love and care that extended to all who knew her.

Collette's home was the heart of her world, and her passion for her family was matched only by the depth of her friendships. She was the embodiment of kindness, always ready with a comforting word or a humorous joke to lighten the spirits of those around her.

Her laughter was infectious, her presence a gift, and her memory will be cherished as a treasure by all who were fortunate enough to experience her love. Collette Murphy's legacy is one of joy, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to the ones she held dear. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.

Loving wife to Paul Murphy. Devoted Mother to Colin, Caoimhe and Emma. Daughter of Catherine Mullan. Daughter in law of the late Vera Murphy. Sister to Sinead Williams. Sister-in-law to John Williams and James and Elaine Murphy. Aunt to Calum, Jason, and Cian Williams, and Chantelle, Brendan, Katie and Eve Murphy.
