Colin G. Maroney

Colin G. Maroney of Weymouth, died suddenly January 17, 2014.

Colin was a 7th grade student at the Maria Weston Chapman Middle School in Weymouth and a proud lineman on the Wild Cat football team. He has a passion for football and was blessed with teammates that were his closest friends. Colin was also an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially in Dennisport. He will be remembered as a happy, outgoing and loving boy who was always dancing and making people smile. He will be sadly missed. 

Cherished son of Lisa M. (Esdale) Maroney of Weymouth and the late John L. Maroney. Loving brother of Matthew M. Maroney of Weymouth. Beloved grandson of Maureen P. Esdale of Quincy and the late Gerald F. Esdale and the late John and Mary Maroney. Nephew of Kevin and Jennifer Esdale of Quincy, Patricia and Dominic Paulo of Weymouth. Great-nephew of Kathleen and Edward Belskis of Quincy, Thomas and Ann Hart of Walpole and Daniel and Milly Esdale of Hyde Park. Also survived by many cousins and friends.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
