Clyde E. Sherman

Sherman, Clyde E. of Quincy, May 10, 2009. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (Gale) of Quincy. Loving father of Scott Sherman and his wife Sonya of Quincy and Eric Sherman and his wife Joanne of Braintree. Cherished grandfather of Scott, Sarah, Trevor and Shane. Brother of Nancy Callari, Joanne Columbo; both of FL and Margie Fike of PA. Also survived by Carol Glover, a devoted family friend and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Sherman’s entire life revolved around his loving family. He enjoyed camping trips during the summer. Clyde had a passion for both gardening and cooking. He was well known for his salsa recipe. Mr. Sherman looked forward to family celebrations especially cooking for New Year’s Eve. He was a meticulous handyman around the home. Clyde was reserved and thoughtful yet had unshakeable determination and strength. The Sherman family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at both Quincy Medical Center and Weymouth Healthcare Center, for the compassionate care provided to Clyde and his family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
