Williams, Clarence A. “Kemmy” of Weymouth, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 6, 2023. Clarence was born in Chelsea to the late Clarence and Bessie Williams. Proud veteran of the Korean War, 82nd Airborne Paratrooper Division of the US Army. He worked for many years as a sign erector for the painting and allied trades local #391. Clarence was also a member of the Braintree Moose Lodge #413. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed fishing and traveling especially his winter months in Fort Myers, Florida. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of 68 years to Claire Williams of Weymouth. Loving father of Deborah A. Venner of Weymouth, Stephen M. Williams of Weymouth, Claire R. Williams and her former husband James Motta of Fort Myers, FL, Elizabeth J. Skistimas and her husband John of Hardeeville, SC, Marianne M. Jones and her husband Ronald of Weymouth and Kathleen M. McGann and her husband Michael of Fort Myers, FL. Proud Papa of 11 grandchildren; Jaime, James, Ashley, Jessica, David, Jenna, Ronny, Samantha, Andrea, Jared and Zachary and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Clarence is predeceased by his siblings Helen Prescott, Mary Miller, Muriel Wasilewski, Webster Williams, Norman Williams and Ruth Simoneau.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 12 PM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
