Clare Conroy Rooney

Conroy Rooney, Clare E. of Fall River, formerly of Hingham, February 21, 2006. Beloved daughter of Helen (Murphy) Conroy and the late Joseph Conroy. Sister of Teresa Durk of Pocatello, Idaho, Mary Perry of Plymouth, Marion Burton of Carver, John Conroy of Quincy, Elaine Spink of Plymouth and the late Joseph Conroy, Jr. Also survived by 3 nieces & 4 nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Clare graduated from Hingham High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Quincy Junior College. She worked as a secretary for Stone and Webster in Boston for 3 years. She volunteered at Quincy Mental Health Center and was an avid Girl Scout Councilor for many years. Her interests included playing guitar and listening to the blues.
