Claire L. Feeney

Feeney, Claire L. (MacKay) of Weymouth, passed away at home surrounded by her family January 18, 2014.

Beloved wife of John “Jack” Feeney of Weymouth.  Loving mother of  Doreen Feeney of Weymouth,  Jack Feeney, Jr. of Taunton, Thomas Feeney and his wife Michele of Norton, Brian Feeney and his wife Joyce of CT.  Dear sister of  Marilyn Cutcliffe of Hull and the late Eddie MacKay, Eleanor and William Tobin, and Florence and Frank Dorgan.  Cherished grandmother of Michael, Zachary, Jessica and Mark.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Claire was a hairdresser in Hingham for 14 years. She loved to travel to Ft. Myers, FL and taking cruises with her husband Jack.  Claire enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 12:30 PM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 1:30 PM. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Claire’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
