Claire E. Meade

Claire E. (Hanson) Meade,  lifelong resident of North Weymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, January 27, 2016.

Beloved wife of 67 years to Ronald J. Meade of North Weymouth.  Loving mother of Dennis Meade and his wife Diana of Bellingham, WA, Stephen Meade and his wife Johanna of Norwood, Michael Meade and his wife Theresa of Hanover, Nancy Gomez and her husband Steven of Rockland, Linda Kelley of Rockland,  Joseph Meade and his wife Nancy of Medfield, Richard Meade and his wife Maria of Waltham and the late Ronald G. Meade and his wife Dorella of Hanson. Dear sister of Doreen Caddick and her husband Ronald of Boca Raton, FL.  Claire is also lovingly survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Claire was a proud member of the “Golden Girls”.  She enjoyed travelling and spending time with her family. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:00 PM .

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claire’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
