Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne Friday at 1:15 PM. Claire Eileen (Mitchell) Crowley was born November 11, 1924 in Dorchester, the youngest of seven children of Irish immigrants John Mitchell of County Galway and Bridget (Greene) Mitchell of County Clare. She is survived by her husband of fifty two years, retired Army Colonel Robert E. Crowley of Rolla, MO, and by two sons and their families, Dr. John S. Crowley of Dotham, AL. and Dan M. Crowley of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by her sister Mary Catherine Bamford of Wollaston, MA. She served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was stationed in New York.
