Collins, Claire A. (Adams) of Queen Creek, AZ, formerly of Quincy, July 28, 2007. Wife of the late Francis E. Collins. Mother of Marie B. Coady, Marcia B. Pratt , Kathleen M. Roque and Caroline Maloney all of Arizonia, Keith F. Collins of FL, Albert T.Collins of Weymouth, Francis E. Collins, Jr. of Quincy and Claire T. “Candy” White of Hanover. Sister of William Adams of So. Boston, Alberta Cotter of Maryland, Joan Bull and Jack Adams both of FL and Richard Adams of Mass. and the late Francis “Bud” Adams and Theresa Kennedy. Claire is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suite 700, 18 Tremont St. Boston, MA. 02180. Claire was a retired foster mother who cared for more than 100 children. Claire A. (Adams) Collins passed away at 81 years old on Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Arizona. Claire has lived in Queen Creek , AZ for the past 4 years. Before moving to Arizona, she lived in Quincy,MA and was raised in South Boston. For more than 20 years, Claire cared for more than 100 children through the Foster Parent Program. She is survived by her 8 children. Claires children are bringing her home to be with her late husband Francis E. Collins. Rest in Peace, Claire.
