Christopher J. Faria

Christopher J. Faria of Fall River, formerly of Weymouth, died suddenly on January 9, 2024 at the age of 53. Chris graduated from Weymouth Vocational and Technical High School in 1988, where he was class valedictorian, and also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He was employed by Verizon in customer service for more than 27 years.

Chris will be remembered for his quit wit, sense of humor, and of course his striking blue eyes.

He was the loving son of Maureen L. Gordon and her husband Steven of Franklin and the late Donald W. Faria and his wife Joyce of Otis. Stepbrother of Alyssa Lahar and Michael Gordon. Also survived by his many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coworkers and his feline companion, Kelly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family on Thursday, 1/18/24, from 10-10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington Street, Weymouth Landing followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christopher may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Fall River, 474 Durfee St., Fall River, MA 02720.
