Christopher F. Jensen

Jensen, Christopher F. ”C.J.” of Waltham, passed on September 17, 2018.

C.J. adored the Boston Celtics and went to many games, as well as the Red Sox. He loved to give and receive hugs, ice cream, his rain stick, and is described as an “angel” by his loving family. He was one of the first to be transferred out of the Fernald State School and into a loving residence where he lived for many years. His family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers and they recognize the love and kindness he was given by them. Also to the staff at the Kelliher Day Program where he attended. C.J. used sign language to communicate and was a loving and caring man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved son of the late Walter M. and Marguerite E. (McGarry) Jensen. Cherished brother of Patricia E. Cunningham and the late Thomas of Millis, Mark W. Jensen and Doris of Columbus, OH, and the late John F. Jensen and his surviving wife Elke. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 10-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of C.J. may be made to American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD), 501 3rd Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20001.
