Christine M. O’Keefe

Christine M. (Rupp) O’Keefe of North Quincy, died May 3, 2017, she was 79. The beloved wife of the late Joseph E. O’Keefe. Cherished mother of Susan Valday of Quincy, Joseph O’Keefe and his wife Diane of Braintree, Dennis O’Keefe and his wife Belina of Lowell, Diane Sullivan and her husband Daniel of Pembroke and Kevin O’Keefe of Quincy. Sister of Helen Oldock of NJ and Kathleen Tkach of NY.  Chrissy is also survived by survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A longtime Quincy resident, Christine enjoyed sewing, gardening and loved to paint, she was an accomplished artist. She would try her hand at just about anything, not afraid to take chances.  Her family was the focal point of her life. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a cherished mother and a loving grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowning her.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9:30-10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
