Christine M. (Bair) Randall

Randall, Christine M. (Bair) of Whitman, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 9, 2020

Loving mother of Charles M. Randall and his wife, Faith, of New Bedford, Melissa Rich and her husband, Tim, of Weare, NH, and Vanessa Randall of Whitman. Former wife of Micheal Randall of East Falmouth. Sister of Michael Bair and his wife, Patti, of W. Bridgewater, Steve Bair and his wife, Renee, and Carla Wright and her husband, Duane, all of Punta Gorda, FL. Grammy of Tim, Nathan, Wyatt, and Greyson.

Christine was born November 12, 1960 in Palm Beach, Florida, daughter of Charles L. Bair of Punta Gorda, FL and the late Rose Marie (DeCastro) Bair. Chris attended Brockton High School in Brockton, MA. After high school, she worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield. After the arrival of her children, she opened a home daycare center. Later in life, she continued her education at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA then transferred to Quincy College, graduating top of her class as Summa Cum Laude Honors and earning multiple Associates Degrees in the Healthcare field. She was a very hard worker and determined to reach her goals no matter what it took. She had the strength, determination, and faith to get her through anything.

Chris was a very selfless person who was always there to help anyone who needed it whenever possible. She saw the good in people and passed along that same virtue in everyone she met, whether it be a co-worker, a neighbor, or people she met along her daily walk. Chris was the type of person that puts a smile on your face whenever you think of her. Her sense of humor was amazing and her laughter infectious. She was like a second mom to so many people.

Her children would invite their friends over to meet her and Chris would treat them like her own children. With open arms and love, she always leant an ear to listen to them and their opinions. Before long, whenever they came by the house, they would greet her “Hi Momma”. These are the type of bonds she created with whoever crossed her path in this life.

Chris especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. You’d find them all sitting around together drawing, painting, watching movies, and playing games together. The Grammy hugs were the greatest as you can hear them giggling and laughing in chorus. One thing she really cherished was sleepovers with her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening. As you came to her front door, the first thing you would notice is the beautiful flowers she planted. She was also well known for her famous homemade fudge!!!! She couldn’t wait for a holiday to make some and gift it to all her family and friends.

She will be dearly missed by all.
