Christine Adams
Wife, Mother, Sister and Daughter- a woman who loved well and was well-loved; Christine Adams, 65, passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 20, 2023.
Christine is survived by her husband Silas Adams and was happily married to her soulmate for 39 years. They grew up together as best friends before falling in love and sharing many years together.
Christine was a loving mother to Silas Adams Jr, and his wife Colleen Adams along with Sean Adams and his wife Kayleigh Adams.
Christine will also be forever remembered as Nana by her seven grandchildren who were her favorite people, Hunter, Wyatt, the late Colton, Harrison, Brentley, John and Harper. They will always cherish their baking classes they had with their Nana.
Christine had eight siblings who she admired dearly. Paul Romikitis and his wife Donna of Weymouth, Peter Romikitis and his wife Frances of Weymouth, Julie McCarthy and her husband John of Braintree, Robert Romikitis and his fiancé Lori of Holbrook, Karen Foley of Braintree, Jacqueline MacDonald and her husband Thomas of Braintree, the late John P. Romikitis Jr. and his late wife Rosemary and late Vincent Romikitis and his surviving wife Carolyn of N.H.
Cherished daughter of the late Helen F. (Kelly) Romikitis and John P. Romikitis Sr.
Survived by many brother and sister-in-laws that she cherished along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Especially her dear friend Nancy Baker of South Boston.
Christine Adams was such a kind and gentle soul who many were drawn to for support and guidance. She enjoyed baking and trying new recipes from one of her large collection of cookbooks. She had a tremendously large heart that grew as she met new people.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, 8/29/23 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, 8/30/23 at 10:30 AM in St. Bridget’s Church, Abington, 455 Plymouth Street. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
