Cheryl A. Duty

Duty, Cheryl A. of Weymouth, died February 8, 2022 after a brief illness. 

Cheryl worked for food services for many years, most recently at Allerton House Assisted Living.  She had a love for laughter and a sense of humor that is unforgettable.   Cheryl enjoyed cooking, reading, baking and vacationing in Hawaii.  Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren.  Cheryl will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.           

Devoted wife of the late Ace Duty.  Beloved mother of Julie A. Deveau and her partner Keith Waithe of Weymouth.  Cherished Meme of Britney Mahomes, Caleb Mahomes and the late Brandin Connell.  Loving daughter of the late Joseph Ormston and Mary (Taylor) Ormston.  Caring sister of Mary D’Ambrosia and her husband Richard of Hingham and Joseph Ormston of Hingham.  Adored aunt of Taylor Ormston, Sarah D’Ambrosia and Sean D’Ambrosia.  Also survived by beautiful great niece and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 1-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH. Burial will be private.
