Charles Wallace Snow

Snow, Charles Wallace of Kingston, (formerly of Weymouth) died February 8, 2014.

Charlie was born and raised in Bellows Falls, VT where he also met his wife, Marjorie, of over 60 years. Charlie served in the Navy Seabees during WWII and soon after moved to Boston where he attended Wentworth for electrical engineering. Charlie later taught a class in electrical drafting and design at Wentworth which led him to write a textbook which is still in use today. Charlie was employed by United Engineers for over 30 years. He described by many as a gentleman and a dedicated lifelong learner. Charlie enjoyed traveling and reading, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Charlie was predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie (Wright) and brother Elmer “Red” Snow. He was the loving father of Susan Skeiber and her husband Francis of Kingston, Ellen Belli and her husband John of Sharon, Robert  Snow and his wife Janice of Shamong, NJ. Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey, Melissa, Jessica and Evan. Charlie was proud to say he has 7 great-grandchildren with another on the way.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
