Hanrahan II, Charles W.,42, of Quincy, Suddenly passed on December 24, 2008. Son of Carolyn V. Hanrahan of Quincy and the late Charles W. Hanrahan. Loving father of Charles W. Hanrahan, III, Thomas M. Hanrahan, and Brian P. Hanrahan, all of Quincy. Brother of Karen A. Hanrahan of Quincy and Michael A. Hanrahan of Marshfield. Former husband to Lisa Tracy of Stoughton. Brother in law to Dee Hanrahan. He is also survived by Uncles Harry Skeffington, John, James, Leo, Phillip and late Edward Hanrahan and Aunts Ann Crickett and the late June Lambert along with many cousins. A graduate of Quincy High School, he earned a Computer Science Degree from Computer Learning Institute. He was a meat manager for over 20 years working at various companies. Charles enjoyed competitive Power Lifting during the years 1990 to 1996, competing for the State and New England Championships where he received many trophies. Charles’ life revolved around his three young sons where they enjoyed gardening and sports together. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Charles was a good listener, caring, deeply religious and a devoted son, father, brother and uncle to Mike Jr. He will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday 12/30 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 12/29 are 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Charles may be made to the Hanrahan Children Education Fund, c/o of Quincy Credit Union, 100 Quincy Ave., Quincy, MA 02169.
