Charles W. Bellew of Weymouth, formerly of Boston, died July 14, 2018.

Charlie proudly served in the US Marine Corp. He continued on to a career in service to his community as a Boston Firefighter, for 30 years, retiring as a lieutenant. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family. Charlie was a skilled handyman and intelligent history buff. He will remembered for his great sense of humor and will be dearly missed. 

Beloved husband of Kathy (McDermott) Bellew of Weymouth. Devoted father of Kirk Bellew and his girlfriend Lisa Imrie of Weymouth and Keri Jobin and her husband Philip of Hull. Loving brother of John Bellew and his wife Jackie of Braintree, Jimmy Bellew of FL and the late Richard Bellew and his widow Ellen of Bridgewater. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM.

Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charles may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
