Charles R. Rosen

Rosen, Charles R. of Braintree, formerly of Franklin, died February 23, 2016.

Charlie proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a skilled wood turner and member of the MA South Shore Woodturner’s Club. Charlie was an avid sailor with a love for fishing and was a past member of the Nantasket Beach Saltwater Club. He was also a Life member of the Old Colony Sportsman Club in Pembroke and former employee of Agilent Technology. Charlie adored his family and always looked forward to their next vacation together. He will be sadly missed.  

Beloved husband of Anne (Coughlin) Rosen of Braintree. Devoted father of Cindy Hoffman of CO, Lori Coughlin and her husband Patrick of Hanover, Michael Rosen of Braintree and Matthew Rosen and his wife Amanda of Scituate. Cherished Grampa of David, Kyle, Sean, Luke and Mary. Loving son of the late John and Mary (Hawkes) Rosen and Loving brother of the late Edward Sutton, John Rosen and Patricia Jacobson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
