Courtney, Charles R. of Braintree April 28, 2003. Beloved husband of Genevieve (Murray) Courtney. Loving father of Joan & her husband Larry Legallo of Charlottesville, VA, Richard & his wife Carolyn Courtney of San Antonio, TX, James Courtney of Center Ossippee, NH, Jeanne & her husband Charles White of West Yarmouth and the late Robert Courtney. Brother of the late Alexander, Mary McCarron, Francis, John and Arthur Courtney. Grandfather of Dr. Robin Legallo, Larry Legallo, Samantha Courtney, Robert Courtney and Amy White. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Agatha’s Church, Milton at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM. Mr. Courtney was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #12. He first worked at the Quincy Shipyard. During WWII, he served in the Army Air Corp in the Aleutian Islands. He was born and raised in Squantum.
