Bowe, Charles L. of Squantum December 29, 2006. A loving and devoted husband of 53 years to Mildred (Boleza) Bowe. Cherished father of Carolyn and Tracey Bowe and the late Charles R. “Rick” Bowe who died on November 28, 2006. Proud grandfather of David R., Brian M., Jessica L. and Steven J. Bowe all of Quincy. Charles made family his life focus. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Mr. Bowe may be made to The Salvation Army, 6 Baxter St. Quincy, MA 02169. Charles grew up in Hyde Park and moved to Quincy 53 years ago, when he married his beloved wife Mildred (Boleza) Bowe. Charles worked in managerial positions before opening his own commerical cleaning business, which he had for more than 35 years. He loved boating and enjoyed his computer and following the stock market. He also enjoyed reading various daily newspapers. He was very dedicated to the St. Jude organization. He was a kind and gentle man who was devoted to his family. A loving husband for 53 years, a cherished father and a devoted and proud grandfather.
