Williams, Charles K. “Charlie” of Quincy, July 17, 2003. Beloved husband of Audrey F. (Bassette) Williams. Father of Charles K. Jr. Brother of the late Jean Rice. Brother in law of Mary and Howard Bowdring, Anna Mae McFadden,Geraldine and Donald Botsch, Arline and Paul Ballotta. Uncle of Elizabeth Goulston and Jean Haron. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, grand neices and grand nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Sunday at 7 PM. Visiting hours from 4 to 8 PM. Cremation to follow. Mr Williams was a 1930 graduate of English High School, Boston and a graduate of Suffolk Law School in 1939. He was with the Merchant Marines after high school, worked in the Fore River shipyard during WW2 and later joined Carpenter’s Local 40 and has been a member for over 50 years. He later started his own business building and repairing homes throughout the South Shore. He was also a self taught Violinist. He was a menber of the Quincy Lodge of Elks for over 50 years. The Elks will be the participant in the service.
