Richardson, Charles J. of Hull October 30, 2007. Devoted husband of Virginia “Ginny” (Cullivan) Richardson of Hull. Beloved father of Denise and her fiance Gerald Emond, Charles J. Jr. and his wife Anne Luise Richardson, and Lauren and her husband Dan Dowling. Cherished grandfather of Kristin, Matthew, Laurie-Beth, Ryan, C.J., and Elizabeth. Loving brother of the late Barbara Raftery and David Richardson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Charlie was a lifelong resident of Hull. He graduated from Archbishop Williams. Charlie was a truck driver for Carter, Rice, Storrs and Bemont. In addition to working there, he also worked for other trucking companies. Charlie was very involved in the Hull community. He was a member of Holy Name Society, Democratic Town Committee, Planning Board, Booster Club, Hull Council # 4865. Charlie was a Past Grand Knight of the K of C, a Steward for the Teamsters Union # 504, a coach for the CYO Basketball, a fourth degree member of Cardinal Spellman, and a Call Fireman for the Town of Hull. Charlie was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed gardening in his yard, traveling, and vacationing in Aruba and Florida. Charlie was a very family-oriented person and most of all loved spending time with them. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charlie Richardson may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., PO Box 859060 Braintree, MA 02185.
